Logan Lowe

Undergraduate Research Fellow at Colorado State University

Logan Lowe is an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Colorado State University, contributing to research on pyrethroid resistance in Central American mosquitos at the Saavedra-Rodriguez Lab within the Center for Vector-Borne Infectious Disease. Previously, Logan served as an Undergraduate Research Laboratory Associate in the Schenkel Lab, investigating SARS-CoV-2's effects on IRF signaling and MHC Class I expression. Experience as a Field Technician at Vector Disease Control International involved controlling West Nile Virus through disease surveillance and pesticide application. Earlier, Logan assisted in vector-borne disease research at the Ebel Lab, focusing on mosquito species identification and blood meal analysis using PCR and Sanger sequencing. Logan is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, specializing in Microbiology and Infectious Disease, at Colorado State University.
