John Becket

John Becket is an experienced finance professional with over three decades in the commercial and multifamily lending sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Credit Director in the Multifamily Lending Division at Umpqua Bank since February 2018, John has previously held pivotal roles at various institutions including First Foundation Inc., JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Wells Fargo, among others. Through a series of leadership positions, John has developed expertise in underwriting multifamily and commercial real estate loans ranging from $500,000 to $40 million, overseeing teams of underwriters and credit analysts across multiple regions. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management/Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco.
