Jonathan Roy Heise began their work experience as a Criminal Investigator at the Columbia County Sheriff's Office in February 2008. During this time, they worked as a Deputy Bailiff, Field Training Officer, and Investigator. In the Special Operations Division, they were responsible for Gang Intervention, Saturation Patrols, assisting the Vice and Narcotics Unit, and executing high-risk search and arrest warrants.
