Rey Fernández

Rey Fernández is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in various academic and management roles. Currently serving as Assistant Head of School and Director of Strategic Initiatives at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School since June 2020, Rey previously held significant positions at Manhattan Prep, including Vice President & General Manager and Executive Director of Instruction. Rey's commitment to social impact is exemplified through the role of Chief Program Officer at Pursuit, a program dedicated to training underserved adults for careers in technology. With additional experience in instruction and leadership at institutions such as Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, Marin Academy, and The Nightingale-Bamford School, Rey possesses a strong foundation in education. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and an AB in Computer Science from Harvard University.
