Gary Thompson

Gary Thompson has extensive experience in leadership roles within the insurance and healthcare sectors. Serving as President & CEO of Columbia Insurance Group from October 1989 until retirement, Gary also holds the position of Board Member at Boone Health starting in April 2021. Gary's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Missouri-Columbia, earned between 1978 and 1982, and an MBA in Insurance & Risk Management from Walden University, completed from 2005 to 2007.
