Terry Hollowell has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. They have held various roles, starting with a position as a Registered Nurse at Scripps Health from 2012 to 2014. They then worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at ACUTE RESPONSE TEAM CORP from 2014 to 2015 and UC San Diego Health from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Family Health Centers of San Diego as a Family Nurse Practitioner until 2016. From 2016 to 2019, Terry worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at St. Charles Health System. Currently, they are employed at Columbia Memorial Hospital, where they serve as the Medical Director of Urgent Cares, starting in November 2021.

Terry Hollowell holds multiple degrees and certifications in various fields. Terry obtained their Bachelor of Arts in English from Wabash College in 2000. Later, in 2003, they completed their Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Indiana State University. Moving into the healthcare field, Terry pursued a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nurse Leadership from the University of San Francisco, completing it in 2012. In 2015, they obtained a postgraduate degree in Family Practice Nursing from Indiana State University.

Terry Hollowell also holds several certifications. Terry became a Registered Nurse (RN) and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in June 2016, both granted by the State of Oregon. Additionally, they obtained the Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) certification from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) in May 2012. Though the exact dates are not provided, Terry is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) by the American Heart Association.

Currently, Terry Hollowell is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Western Governors University, with an expected completion date in 2024.
