Srihari B

Team Member Of NASA Rasc-al at Columbia Space Initiative

Srihari B is currently a Master's Thesis Student at Columbia University in the Mechanical Engineering department, focusing on the fabrication and optical characterization of van der Waals low-dimensional crystals in the Schuck Lab. Experience includes serving as a team member for NASA's RASC-AL project with the Columbia Space Initiative, and previously as a Research Assistant in the Rock and Ice Mechanics Lab at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. Srihari has extensive involvement with NASA, having led a grant-winning research team, contributing to the development of the Plasma Rapid Oxidation Technique for aerospace applications, and participating as a Lead Entry, Descent, and Landing Systems Engineer in Team Orion II. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Union College.
