Miriam Tepper

Miriam Tepper serves as the Medical Director for Adult Community Services and Academic Affiliations at the New York State Office of Mental Health since February 2025, and has been an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia University Irving Medical Center since October 2021. Previously, Miriam Tepper held the positions of Research Psychiatrist at Columbia University Department of Psychiatry and New York State Psychiatric Institute and Consultant and Medical Director for various initiatives at Cambridge Health Alliance, including leading the Division of Population Behavioral Health Innovation and developing a clinical program for first episode psychosis. Miriam Tepper's earlier academic career includes roles as Assistant Professor and Instructor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from UNC School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Amherst College.
