Leah Fein

Senior Director of Engagement at Columbia/Barnard Hillel

Leah Fein has a diverse work experience in the field of Jewish education and engagement.

Leah started their career as a Rabbinic Intern at Park Avenue Synagogue in 2013. Leah held this position until 2015.

In 2015, Leah joined Hillel at Syracuse University as a Campus Rabbi. Leah served in this role for two years until 2017 when they became the Interim Executive Director. Leah remained in this position until 2019.

In 2019, Leah joined Columbia/Barnard Hillel as a Senior Jewish Educator. Leah held this position for two years until 2021. In July 2021, they were promoted to the role of Senior Director of Engagement and continues to work in this capacity.

Leah Fein completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Jewish/Judaic Studies and International Relations from Brandeis University. Leah then pursued further education at The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained Rabbinic Ordination and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Jewish Education.
