Latoya Straughter Evans

LaToya Straughter Evans has a diverse work experience. LaToya started their career as a Customer Service Representative at Walmart in 2004. LaToya then worked as an Assistant Manager and Tax Preparer at H&R Block from 2003 to 2006. Following that, they served as a Paralegal/Office Manager at W. Howard Gunn & Associates, Attorney at Law from 2008 to 2010. LaToya then worked as an Office Manager at Legacy Hospice of the South from 2010 to 2011. After that, they were an Accounting/Accounts Payable Coordinator at Pioneer Community Hospital of Aberdeen from 2011 to 2014. LaToya briefly worked as a Staff Accountant at Millcreek of Pontotoc in 2014. Currently, they are the Human Resources Director at Columbus Municipal School District starting from 2022.

LaToya Straughter Evans obtained their Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Accounting and Finance from Northeast Community College in Booneville, MS, where they studied from 2002 to 2004. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Mississippi State University. LaToya completed their undergraduate studies at Mississippi State University from 2005 to 2007.
