Sharonda S. Murphy

Sharonda Murphy, M.Ed., LFDE, is an accomplished educational professional and owner of Murphy Education since January 2022. Serving as Program Director and Instructor at Columbus Technical College since July 2021, Sharonda oversees medical assisting programs while simultaneously working as a Funeral Director at Murphy Mortuary & Cremation Services since August 2020. With prior experience as a Funeral Director Apprentice at MLK Memorial Chapel and extensive teaching roles in medical assisting across several colleges, including Albany Technical College and Southern Regional Technical College, Sharonda has demonstrated a commitment to student success and workforce education. Holding multiple degrees, including a Master of Education in Adult & Career Education and an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Office Administration & Assisting, Sharonda combines a strong educational background with practical industry knowledge.
