Home to more than 11,000 animals representing over 600 species from around the globe, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium leads and inspires by connecting people and wildlife. The Zoo complex is a recreational and education destination that includes the 22-acre Zoombezi Bay water park and 18-hole Safari Golf Course.

The current executive team at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium have a variety of experience in the maritime and aquarium industries. The president and CEO, Tom Stalf, previously worked as the director of operations at NAUTICUS-The National Maritime Center. He also has a degree in biology from Stetson University. The senior aquarist, Eric Rose, previously worked at Sea World. He has a degree in biological sciences from the University of Central Florida.
