Christin Collier

Christin is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, who recently moved back to New England. Christin completed her Bachelors of Psychology at University Massachusetts Amherst. She received her Masters of Social Work at Wheelock College, which is now part of Boston University. She has supported individuals with dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorders, addiction issues, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, career issues, and adjustment concerns for over 9 years. Christin has provided counseling at inpatient detoxification, IOP, outpatient group therapy, family and individual therapy. Christin’s practice centers around a person-centered approach and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) modality. She utilizes motivational interviewing to work on goals that sometimes feel overwhelming. Christin is in the process of incorporating dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy modalities (EMDR). When Christin is away from Column Health, she is hiking, playing with her two dogs or cooking. She enjoys movies and is a fan of Star Wars.
