Robert Walter

Robert Walter has extensive experience in accounting and financial management, currently serving as Tribal Controller, Accounting Manager, and Accountant IV at the Colusa Indian Community Council since August 2014, where responsibilities include managing accounts payable and processing over 200,000 invoices annually. Prior experience includes a role as Staff Accountant at Jensen Smith, CPAs from July 2012 to August 2014, focusing on auditing non-profit organizations and government entities, and a previous position at the Colusa Indian Community Council as Accountant IV Specialist, emphasizing accounts payable management. Earlier in their career, Robert acted as Deli Manager at Safeway from August 2005 to August 2008, where strong management skills were demonstrated by overseeing a team of over 15 employees. Robert holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Chico, completed in May 2010.
