Tobe Amamize currently serves as a TEDx Speaker and participates in the Combar Social Mobility Mentoring Scheme. Tobe has extensive experience as a freelance author for various publications, including The Herald Scotland, The Skinny, Glasgow Standard, and Black Ballad, focusing on issues related to black history education and social change in the UK. As an activist, Tobe leads a campaign to integrate black history into the Scottish school curriculum, collaborating with key stakeholders. Previous speaking engagements include guest appearances on BBC Radio Scotland. Tobe gained legal experience through a mini pupillage with the Financial Conduct Authority, delivering insights into insider trading investigations. Tobe is pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at The London School of Economics and Political Science, following completion of secondary education at St Margaret's Academy Livingston.
