Nicoló Fiorona

Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, where responsibilities include developing hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices as part of a cross-functional team. Prior to this role, Chris served as a Firmware Engineer at SMART Technologies, developing firmware and diagnostic tools for educational products. Chris has also worked as an Electronics Contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on electronics design and repair for educational devices, and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting laboratory sessions and grading assessments. Earlier experience includes working as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, where Chris developed control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
