Punam Sharma

Punam Sharma is an accomplished executive technology leader with extensive experience in the financial services sector. As the SVP and Business Information Officer at Comerica Bank since September 2022, Punam drives cost optimization and transformation initiatives within Wealth Management and Retail Banking. Previously, Punam held various leadership roles at SEI from November 2008 to October 2022, including Vice President & Director of Technology, where responsibilities included fostering innovation and efficiency in back office services for wealth management clients. Additional roles at SEI involved working closely with CXOs to enhance client solutions, overseeing the digital experience strategy for the SEI wealth platform, and successfully managing multi-location development teams using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Earlier, Punam began a career at Tata Consultancy Services as a consultant focused on implementing financial services solutions globally. Punam holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
