Alex Matzner

Alex Matzner serves as the Chief Operating Officer at comma.ai since June 2020 and is a Co-Founder and Advisor at y3k studio. Prior experience includes a role as an Interface designer at Tlon and as an Experience Engineer at comma.ai earlier in 2019. Alex held the position of Director of Design at harvest.ai from 2014 to 2016 and worked as a Senior Product Designer at POPSUGAR, contributing to the conceptualization and design of the iOS shopping experience app Fave, which gained visibility in the App Store. Additionally, Alex was a Product Designer at Threadflip, where design work on an e-commerce app garnered features in major publications including New York Times and Vogue. Alex's educational background includes a BFA in Graphic Design from Maryland Institute College of Art and studies at Nanjing University.
