In 2022, CommentSold debuted its lightweight video commerce plugin technology, Videeo, which gives any retailer or brand the ability to embed and go live with engaging, branded live video commerce experiences within days by easily integrating into an existing e-commerce stack.

CommentSold, America’s #1 live selling SaaS platform is looking for a BDR to join the Sales team. CommentSold currently has over 50 people based out of India and you will be joining this team working primarily to promptly qualify and convert prospective leads into paying customers.We are seeking a self-starter with the ability of understanding complex product details and effectively communicating them to prospects. Your main goal will be to follow up and close new business opportunities, contributing directly to your company’s growth.You will work closely with experienced team members to learn the ins and outs of our industry-leading mobile video commerce technology and gain valuable hands-on experience in customer engagement and lead qualification, sales and customer support.  You will report to the Sales Manager. 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Respond promptly to inbound leads via email, phone, and other communication channels.
  • Engage with prospective customers across channels to understand their basic ecom needs, challenges, and goals and how our solutions can meet them
  • Explain complex technical details of the CommentSold product suite in a clear and comprehensible manner.
  • Provide information and clarification about the CommentSold product suite, including features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Support in scheduling product demos and meetings for the sales team as directed.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and updates in the CRM system and follow up diligently
  • Complete basic onboarding tasks to expedite customer setup and product utilization
  • Collaborate with senior team members to optimize lead conversion and customer engagement strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Have experience working with a US company and working with customers based in US
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Comfortable in spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively with US-based customers across different time zones over video and audio calls.
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely, and explain complex technical details effectively to a non-technical audience.
  • Proactive and self-driven with a strong desire to learn and grow in a sales or business development role.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service and helping clients succeed.
  • Basic understanding of business concepts and willingness to learn about our products and industry.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn to use CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
  • Ability to work until 6PM EST
