Brian Schmanke

Brian Schmanke has over 19 years of experience in the financial industry. Brian is currently working as the Senior Vice President in the Capital Markets Group at Commerce Bank. In this role, they specialize in fixed income capital markets and provides investment strategies, portfolio management, asset/liability management, and economic analysis to investors in the bond market.

Prior to their current position, Brian worked as the Senior Vice President of Fixed Income at George K. Baum & Company for 14 years. Before that, they served as the Regional AVP in Kansas City at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines. Additionally, they were the Vice President of Investment Advisory at CNBS, LLC.

Throughout their career, Brian has gained expertise in mortgage, municipal, government agency, and corporate bonds, as well as brokered certificates of deposit for institutional investors.

Brian Schmanke attended Kansas State University from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance.
