Andrea Stubbe

Andrea Stubbe has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role being the VP Product at commercetools since February 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Product from May 2020 to February 2022, and before that, they were the Lead Product Owner from December 2019 to May 2020.

Before joining commercetools, Andrea co-founded apaleo in May 2017 and served as Co-Founder until December 2019.

Andrea also has prior experience at SAP Hybris, where they held the role of Product Lead YaaS.io from February 2014 to December 2019. In addition, they worked as a Technical Strategist from February 2012 to February 2014.

Andrea's work journey started as a Software Developer at conject AG from March 2008 to February 2012, where they worked on several SaaS products and was involved in recruiting and educating new developers.

Andrea began their career with an internship at schaeffler interactive in 2001.

Andrea also gained valuable experience as a Freelance Flash-Developer at Serviceplan / plan.net, an Engineering Intern at Google's Zurich office, and as a Freelance Researcher at Open Text in Munich.

Andrea Stubbe received a Dipl.Ing degree in Media Engineering from Offenburg University of Applied Sciences from 1998 to 2002. Andrea further pursued their education at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where they obtained a Magister degree in Computer Linguistics, Computer Science, Logic & Philosophy of Science from 2002 to 2006.
