Maria João Matos

Maria João Matos has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Maria João currently works as the Training Operations Lead at commercetools since 2023. Prior to this, Maria worked at OutSystems from 2014 to 2023, where they held positions such as Senior Project Manager & Training Operations and Training Partners and Operations Specialist. Maria João was responsible for managing certification delivery, training budgets, financial control, and customer support. Before joining OutSystems, Maria worked at Glintt as a Human Resources Technician, where they handled payroll and health insurance for multiple companies. Maria João also had brief roles at Jerónimo Martins as a Customer Relations Assistant and various positions in human resources and training. In addition, they gained experience as an English Teacher at Edugep and Kids Club Restelo.

Maria João Matos completed a Theatre Initiation Course at Espaço EVOÉ - Arts Centre. Maria João then went on to obtain a Degree in Languages, Literatures & Cultures, with a focus on Portuguese and English Studies, from the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the New University of Lisbon. Maria João later pursued a Post-Graduation in Human Resources Management and Strategic Development at the ISLA - Superior Institute of Languages and Administration. Most recently, they completed a Project Management: Skills for Success course at Learning Tree International.
