Yue (Joy) Zheng is a seasoned professional in food safety and sanitation, currently serving as a Sr. Food Safety Specialist at Commercial Food Sanitation L.L.C. since December 2014. In this role, Yue (Joy) Zheng provides global consulting and training on food safety, sanitation, and hygienic design for food processors. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the FDA and as a Sr. Research Assistant at the IIT Institute for Food Safety and Health, where Yue (Joy) Zheng contributed to a project funded by Nestlé Research Center focused on validating high-pressure processing to reduce Salmonella and Listeria in low moisture foods. Yue (Joy) Zheng holds a Master of Science in Food Safety and Technology from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Food Science and Engineering from Sichuan University.
