James Knowles

James Knowles has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. James started their career at Chapparal Steel / Gerdau S.A. in 1992 as a Cost Accountant / Sr. Cost Accountant and worked there until 1997. From 1997 to 1998, they worked as an Assistant Operations Controller at Compaq / Hewlett-Packard. James then joined Nokia in 1998 and held roles such as SAP Financial Systems Implementation Manager and SAP Shared Services Project Manager. In 2002, they became the Assistant Controller for Corporate / Shared Service Functions at Nokia. From 2004 to 2007, they served as the North America Sales Planning Controller for Customer Market Operations at Nokia. In 2007, they joined Commercial Metals Company as the Global Process Manager for Accounting & Costing. James is currently working at Commercial Metals Company as the Director of IT Global Shared Services.

James Knowles attended Arlington High School from 1986 to 1988. James then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Accounting at The University of Texas at Arlington from 1988 to 1992. In 1997, James obtained a certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
