John Melvin

John Melvin has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. John worked at the Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) as the Director of Energy Networks and Legal division, where they regulated the electricity and natural gas infrastructures in Ireland and provided legal advice. Prior to that, they were a Manager in the Gas Commercial division at CER. John also has experience as a Director at Askeaton Power Ltd, where they designed, built, and operated a Combined Heat & Power facility. Additionally, they worked at Fingleton White & Co. Ltd, where they held various roles and was involved in business strategy and expanding the CHP business.

John Melvin completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering at University College Dublin from 1990 to 1994. John then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance, General at Smurfit Business School from 2011 to 2013.
