Samantha Polydys

Samantha Polydys, LMSW, is an experienced social worker currently serving as the Site Director of the Learn & Earn Program at Commonpoint Queens since January 2022. Previously, Samantha held the position of Program Coordinator for Families Count at Family and Children's Association, where responsibilities included individual and group family counseling. Additional roles include Other Licensed Practitioner and Supervising Social Worker for Project Independence. Prior to these positions, Samantha gained experience as an Assistant at Ready Set Grow Daycare and a Social Work Intern at YES Community Counseling Center, focusing on school social work. Earlier internships include work with the Department of Social Services in the foster care unit and Family Services of Westchester as a respite worker. Samantha earned a Master's degree in Social Work from Fordham University in 2015 and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Iona University in 2015.
