Tamra Buntrock

Tamra Buntrock is the System Vice President of Philanthropy Finance and Operations at CommonSpirit. Tamra has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on nonprofit organizations, banking, real estate, and employee benefit plans.

Tamra began their career at Touche Ross & Co. (now Deloitte & Touche) in 1982 as an auditor and tax consultant. Tamra quickly developed industry specializations in the areas of nonprofit organizations, banking, real estate, and employee benefit plans. In 1990, they left Touche Ross to become the Chief Financial Officer of Horizons Unlimited/Boldero Homes, Inc., where they were responsible for all finance and reporting functions for the company's real estate portfolio (commercial and multi-family housing) and general contracting/custom home construction operations. Tamra remained in this position until 1995, when they joined CommonSpirit.

At CommonSpirit, Tamra has been instrumental in developing and implementing the organization's philanthropy finance and operations strategy. Tamra has also played a key role in establishing CommonSpirit's presence in the community through their work with local nonprofits and civic organizations.

Tamra Buntrock holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of South Dakota.

They work with Nancy Bussani - System Senior Vice President, Philanthropy Strategy and Governance, Will Curtis - System Vice President, Philanthropy Technology and Innovation, and Paul Richardson - System Senior Vice President, Philanthropy Engagement. Carrie Boardwick - System Director, Operations, Brent Owens - System Director, Finance report to Tamra Buntrock. Tamra Buntrock reports to Fred Najjar, EVP, Chief Philanthropy Officer & President, CommonSpirit Health Foundation.
