Aaron Platt

Aaron Platt is an experienced professional in data management and analytics, currently serving as the Head of Data Management in the Chief Operations Office at Commonwealth Bank since October 2016. In this role, Aaron focuses on ensuring the completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and security of data within operational processes to enhance customer outcomes while managing data risk and regulatory compliance. Previously, Aaron held similar data management responsibilities at Bankwest and was accountable for retail and business banking reporting and analytics. Prior to Commonwealth Bank, Aaron worked as a Manager at EYC3, providing strategic advice on data governance and analytics, and held the position of Vice President at J.P. Morgan, where management of development teams for algorithmic trading solutions was a key responsibility. Aaron's extensive background in software engineering spans various prestigious institutions, including UBS, Deutsche Bank, and IBM, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Portsmouth.
