Erica Borggren

Erica Borggren has a diverse work experience spanning over different sectors. Erica started their career in the US Army, where they served as a Speechwriter for General David Petraeus and later became a Company Commander. In 2011, they transitioned into a civilian role and became the Director of the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs. During their time there, they successfully led various initiatives and partnerships to support veterans. In 2014, Erica took on the role of Acting Secretary at the Illinois Department of Transportation, where they oversaw a large budget and workforce. Erica is currently employed at ComEd, where they have held various Vice President positions, including Customer Solutions and Customer Channels.

Erica Borggren earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1998 to 2002. Erica then pursued further education at the University of Oxford, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Comparative Social Policy from 2002 to 2003 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Theology from 2003 to 2004.
