Kristi Simkins

Kristi Simkins has a diverse work experience in various industries. Kristi started their career in 2007 as a Patient Account Manager at UIC Medical Center. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a Teacher's Assistant in the Department of Economics at Illinois State University. In 2010, they interned as a Rates Analyst in the Regulated Pricing Department at MidAmerican Energy Company. Simkins then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Economics at Illinois State University from 2009 to 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they served as a Junior Financial Analyst at Viskase Corporation. Kristi then worked as a Financial Analyst in FP&A at Sequenom from 2012 to 2013. Simkins then joined San Diego Gas & Electric as a Business/Economic Analyst in Electric Rates from 2013 to 2015. Following that, they worked at Nicor Gas as an Analyst in Energy Efficiency Planning and TRM from 2015 to 2017. Currently, since 2017, Simkins has been working at ComEd, initially as a Sr. Regulatory Specialist and now holds the position of Principal Regulatory Analyst.

Kristi Simkins holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Economics and English Studies from Illinois State University, which they earned from 2005 to 2009. Kristi subsequently pursued a Master's degree in Applied Economics from the same institution, completing it from 2009 to 2011.
