Katrina Barhouse

Katrina Barhouse is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software integration and industrial control systems. Currently serving as Principal Software Integration Engineer and Manager of Industrial Control Systems at Commonwealth Fusion Systems since December 2022, Katrina leads the design and implementation of control software for the SPARC project. Previous roles include Software Engineer at Argo AI, Ride Control Systems Engineer at Walt Disney Imagineering, and Senior Engineer in Unmanned Systems at Oshkosh Corporation. Katrina also has a strong background in engineering education and outreach, having managed initiatives and curriculum development as Pre-College Associate Director at Milwaukee School of Engineering. Academic credentials include an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering, as well as international experience from Technische Hochschule Lübeck and certification studies in sustainability at UCLA Extension.
