Hayley Wickens

Hayley Wickens is an experienced Consultant Pharmacist specializing in Genomic Medicine at NHS Central and South GMSA since November 2021. In addition, Hayley serves as Chair of the Genomics Committee for the United Kingdom Clinical Pharmacy Association and as an Advisor on Antimicrobials and Stewardship programmes with the Commonwealth Pharmacists Association. Previous roles include Honorary Consultant Pharmacist in Anti-infectives at University Hospital Southampton NHS FT, and Pharmacy Training Programme Director for Health Education England. Hayley's background features significant contributions to antimicrobial stewardship, education, and research, with a strong academic foundation that includes a PhD in Pharmaceutical Microbiology and multiple Master's degrees in Infection Management and Genomic Medicine from esteemed institutions.
