James Kelly

James Kelly is an experienced professional in the public sector, currently serving as Division Head for the Market Conduct and Digital Division at Commonwealth Treasury since May 2023. Previously, James held the position of Head of the NDIA Review Secretariat at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet from August 2022 to March 2023. James has an extensive background at Commonwealth Treasury, where from January 2013 to August 2022, James served as Division Head for both the Financial System Division and the Financial Services Reform Taskforce, as well as Principal Adviser for the Financial System Division and Treasury Representative in Europe. Earlier roles at Commonwealth Treasury included Division Head and Manager in the Macroeconomic Policy Division from 2010 to 2012 and Head of the business and capital taxation team during the formulation of Australia's Future Tax System from 2008 to 2009.
