Jacob Dunafon

Jacob Dunafon has a wealth of experience in the security and military fields. From 2007 to 2016, they served in the US Navy as a BUD/s Navy SEAL Instructor and Navy SEAL. During this time, they were tasked with supervising over 2.4K new students during initial SEAL orientation and training after boot camp and BUD/s Prep in Chicago. Jacob also acted as a SEAL Point Man and Lead Sniper for SEAL Team Three, planning and leading over 30 Direct Action missions in support of AFGHANISTAN SOTF-SE with the Afghanistan National Army (ANA). From 2017 to 2019, they worked for Trident Group, Inc. as a Team Member, where they possessed current Merchant Mariner Credentials (MMC) and had clocked more than nine months of sea time. In this role, they operated as a qualified Vessel Security Officer (VSO) and completed the course with Training Resources Limited (TRL). Finally, from 2019 to 2022, Jacob worked for AS Solution as an Executive Protection Agent, where they were in charge of the safety of close members of family and friends of the client in all social settings. Jacob kept a low profile to fit into any setting and not alert any threats that there was a security team present. Team management, Clear Communication, Team Planning, and Time Management were all key to their success. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer for CommSafe AI.

Jacob Dunafon is currently enrolled in the Turing School of Software & Design where they are studying Front End. Previously, they attended Coding Dojo where they earned a Full Stack Web Development degree. Between 2014 and 2017, they attended the University of Charleston where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership. In 2020, they completed a Remote Medical Emergency Medical Technician certification from Remote Medical International (EMT).
