Peter Newby

Peter Newby has over 40 years of experience in the financial services and IT sectors. Currently serving as Business Support Manager and IT Support Manager at Commsec Adviser Services since September 2000, Peter leads a team providing application support for the Wholesale division and manages client relations with large corporate entities. Previously, at Alphawest from April 1998 to September 2000, Peter advanced from helpdesk operator to project lead and later transitioned to pre-sales support. Peter's career began at Commonwealth Bank, where from January 1980 to July 1997, various roles from clerk to branch manager were undertaken across multiple branches. Peter completed education at Applecross Senior High School from 1975 to 1979.
