Balázs Szijj

Balázs Szijj has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Balázs started their career as a Design Engineer at Főmterv Zrt. in 2014, where they worked for seven months. Balázs then joined GE Lighting as an Application Engineer in December 2014 and worked there until December 2016. In 2017, they started working at Bosch Magyarország, where they held multiple roles. Balázs began as a System Engineer in the field of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) in January 2017 and worked until October 2019. Balázs was responsible for planning and coordinating system tests, developing test strategies, and allocating resources for a business plan. From January 2019 to October 2019, they served as a Team Lead, where they led a system engineering team and handled tasks related to test activities. From October 2019 to October 2021, they worked as a Technical Project Manager, responsible for a software and hardware development project. Balázs moderated a cross-functional team and acted as the interface between the customer and engineering line management. Currently, Balázs Szijj is employed as a Project Manager at Commsignia, starting in November 2021.

Balázs Szijj completed their education at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Balázs obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electric Power Engineering in 2012 and went on to earn their Master's degree in Power Electric Systems in 2014. In addition to their formal education, Balázs obtained the ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate in October 2017. Balázs is also currently pursuing the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute, with an expected completion date of December 2022.
