Joe Villa

Joe Villa has a diverse work experience in the field of communications technology and solutions engineering. Joe started their career as a Sales Engineer at Wireless Knowledge in 1999 and later worked as a Sales Engineer at Brience in 2000. In 2001, they took on the role of Sales Consultant at Telispark. Joe then founded Mobile Electron in 2002, specializing in IoT/M2M and mobile wireless data communication solutions. Joe successfully grew the company and positioned it as a leader in IoT/M2M device distribution and integration until it was acquired in 2008.

From 2011 to 2012, Joe worked as a Sales Engineer at nPhase, LLC. Joe then joined Verizon Enterprise Solutions Group in 2011 as a Connected Solutions Engineer, providing technical direction and support to IoT/M2M customers. In 2015, they joined Telogis as a Solutions Engineer.

Joe's career further progressed in 2016 when they became a Solutions Architect at Vodafone Global Enterprise, where they consulted, designed, and architected global data communication solutions for global companies. This involved optimizing ROI through consultative design based on the clients' needs, as well as total technical account management.

Most recently, Joe has been working as a Solutions Engineer at Communication Technology Services, LLC, starting in 2021.

Joe Villa obtained an Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Tampa Technical Institute, where they studied from 1993 to 1994. In addition, they have recently obtained a certification as a CBSD CPI (Certified Professional Installer) from Google in October 2021.
