Monica Logan Lmsw

Monica Logan, LMSW, has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Monica began their career with the Parks & People Foundation as the Director of Youth Programs, where they successfully managed after-school and summer programming for over 3,000 Baltimore city youth annually. During their time there, they also developed partnerships with over 30 organizations and oversaw a staff of 300+.

In 2014, Monica joined the National Summer Learning Association as the Vice President of Program and Systems Quality, where they played a key role in expanding high-quality summer learning opportunities. Monica set strategic direction for the designated team and ensured alignment with overall program goals.

Monica then transitioned to Baltimore City Public Schools, where they held multiple roles. As the Director of Support Staff Leadership Development from 2018 to 2020, they facilitated the growth and development of support staff members. Later, they became the Interim Executive Director of Talent & Organizational Development, where they managed talent and organizational development initiatives until November 2022. Finally, they served as the Director of System Learning and Development from July 2020 to February 2023.

Currently, Monica holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at CommUnify. In this role, they oversee the broad operational and administrative functions of the organization, including strategic planning, performance management, contract management, and quality assurance/improvement. Monica also supervises staff, handles complaints, and resolves problems.

Throughout their career, Monica Logan has consistently showcased strong leadership and management abilities, making significant contributions to the organizations they have worked for.

Monica Logan, LMSW, completed their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Social Work at the University of Maryland Baltimore from 1999 to 2000. In October 2000, they also obtained their License Master Social Worker (LMSW) certification from the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
