Azhar Janjua

Azhar Janjua has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Starting in 1994, they worked as a Special Assistant for the Office of Hon. Herb Dhaliwal, Minister of Natural Resources. In 2005, they joined Miller Thomson LLP, where they specialized in Condominium and Real Estate Law. From 2005 to 2007, they also worked at Fasken as part of the Practice Operations team, providing business analysis and forecasting for legal Practice Groups.

In 2007, Azhar moved to Heenan Blaikie LLP, focusing on Trademark and Marketing Law, particularly for Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, starting in 2019, Azhar joined Communitech as the Head of Communitech Outposts. In this role, they have full responsibility for the go-to-market strategy and P&L of Communitech Outposts, an employer-of-record service for small and medium-sized businesses across Canada. Azhar manages partner/vendor relationships, oversees business development and marketing, and handles international operations.

Azhar Janjua attended the University of London from 2001 to 2004, where they earned an LLB degree in Law. Prior to that, they attended the University of Ottawa from 1994 to 1999, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
