Joel Semeniuk

Joel Semeniuk is a seasoned leader in the innovation ecosystem, currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President of Ecosystem Collaboration at Communitech since January 2020, where responsibilities include creating and delivering nationwide programs to enhance Canada's economic and innovation landscape. Joel has held various roles, including Vice President of Corporate Growth and Innovation at Communitech, Venture Partner at Fresco Capital, Lead Mentor for the Canadian Technology Accelerators, and was the Founder and CEO of HORIZONthree. With a rich background in corporate innovation and startups, Joel also founded Imaginet Ventures and served as Executive Vice President at Telerik. Joel's expertise is built on strong educational foundations with a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba.
