Angelica Francis Adams has over 25 years of work experience in the field of community relations and strategic partnerships. Angelica started their career in 1996 as the Director of Strategic Partnership at Communities In Schools, where they worked for several years. In 2005, they became the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Communities In Schools of Houston, a position they held until 2021. Angelica also served as the Director of Project MOVE Dental Component at Communities In Schools from 1998 to 2005. In 2019, they joined Communities In Schools of Houston as a Senior Manager, and in 2021, they moved to Houston ISD as a Community Relations Liaison.
Angelica Francis Adams earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Houston-Central, which they attended from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Education Administration with a focus on Community Education at Texas A&M University from 1993 to 1995.
