Matthew Dougherty

Matthew Dougherty is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in commercial lending and management. Currently serving as the Commercial Banking Group Manager at Community Bank System, Inc. since January 2012, Matthew leads the commercial sales efforts in the Scranton and Wilkes-Barre markets. Previously, Matthew held various roles including Senior Vice President at Community Bank System, where responsibilities included business development and portfolio risk management across Northeast Pennsylvania and upstate New York. Additional experience includes serving as Commercial Team Leader at Community Bank, N.A. and Vice President at First Liberty Bank & Trust. Matthew began their career as a Credit Analyst at Community Bank, N.A. and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Lehigh University, graduated in 2001.
