Victoria Newman

Victoria Newman has a strong background in the legal field. Victoria is currently the Chief Legal Officer at the Community Choice Financial Family of Brands since 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at the TMX Finance Family of Companies, including Chief Legal Officer from 2013 to 2023. In this capacity, they were responsible for leading a team and providing legal and compliance guidance to the company. Victoria also handled regulatory matters, dispute resolution, data breach incidents, and merger and acquisition activities. Before joining TMX Finance, they worked as an Associate at Holland & Knight LLP from 2008 to 2013.

Victoria Newman received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from The University of Georgia in 2005. Victoria then pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) from Stetson University College of Law, completing their degree in 2008. Additionally, they attended the ABA National Compliance School in Spring 2015, although no degree was specified for this program.
