Ishan Heru is the Chief Impact Officer for Community Connections. The programs within his purview provide housing for veterans, workforce development for young adults, and outreach services for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Passionate about socioeconomics, his goal is to help close the workforce gap in underemployed communities. He has extensive experience in advocacy and policy development at both the local and federal levels. His hobbies include flag football and discovering new music using Shazam in Uber rides and downloading them to his eclectic iTunes collection. He also enjoys meeting new people and learning about their unique life perspectives.
