Stephanie Kent

Stephanie Kent has a diverse background in human resources and education. Stephanie currently works as a Human Resources Generalist at Community Coordinated Care for Children, Inc. (4C), a position they have held since 2023. Prior to that, Stephanie served as a Personnel Services Manager at the California Natural Resources Agency from 2018 to 2022, where they established the Human Resources unit and helped improve employee satisfaction. Stephanie also has experience in the education sector, having served as a School Board Trustee for the Rescue Union School District from 2016 to 2020, where they worked on various initiatives to enhance the educational program and promote excellence. Additionally, Stephanie worked as a Substitute Teacher for the district from 2011 to 2016. Stephanie also has entrepreneurial experience as the owner and instructor of a private piano business, where they provided piano lessons to students of all ages and arranged performance opportunities for them. Stephanie's earlier career includes roles as a Human Resource Generalist at Taos and a Human Resources Manager at Ventana Property Services, where they handled various HR functions.

Stephanie Kent received their Master of Arts degree in Sociology from San Jose State University. Stephanie pursued their undergraduate education at Portland State University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. Furthermore, Stephanie has obtained several certifications, including Certified Paycor Pro: Payroll from Paycor, Human Resources: Payroll from LinkedIn, Certification Prep: SHRM-CP from LinkedIn, Human Resources Foundations from LinkedIn, and additional certifications from LinkedIn in various areas such as emotional intelligence, resourcefulness, virtual meetings, virtual teams, and diversity and inclusion.
