Cheryl Mizzer, SHRM-SCP has a wealth of experience in Human Resources and Business Leadership. Cheryl started their career in 1993 as a District Manager for Discovery Zone, where they were responsible for opening the Maryland and Virginia markets simultaneously, consisting of 14 locations within 1 and 1/2 years. Cheryl also had full P & L accountability and prepared budgets and long term forecasting. In 1997, they became a District Sales Manager for CPI Corporation, where they generated $18M in sales in multiple retail locations in Central Florida, Puerto Rico and Maryland and received awards for 3 years of highest revenue growth in Company. In 2005, they became a District Manager for Learning Care Group, where they were accountable for the operation and financial success of 11 Central Florida locations, 170 employees and $10m in revenue. In 2010, they became a District Manager for Picture People, operating more than 170 company owned retail locations in 33 states. In 2011, they became a District Sales Manager for Medifast, Inc., helping people achieve long lasting weight loss results through the power of clinically proven nutrition, along with the support they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle. In 2014, they became the Director of Human Resources/Operations for Khalil Ventures dba Mathnasium, The Math Learning Center, where they established processes to support the integration and implementation of new and existing initiatives, designed to provide a platform for future growth. In 2018, they became the Human Resources Director for Community Coordinated Care for Children, Inc. (4C). In this role, they are a strategic business partner and develops, coordinates and oversees all Human Resources functions of the Agency, including strategies for talent acquisition and retention, employee relations, performance management, FMLA, ADA and Worker's Compensation. Cheryl also evaluates overall HR strategies and metrics and makes recommendations to President/CEO and Board of Directors.
Cheryl Mizzer has a background in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Central Florida and Business Management from Prince George's Community College. Cheryl also holds a SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM, which they obtained in May 2017.
