Rupal Shah has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Rupal is currently working as the Head of Learning and Insights (England) at The National Lottery Community Fund since May 2021. Prior to this role, Rupal worked as a Funding Officer at the same organization from February 2018 to May 2021.
From 2015 to 2018, Rupal worked as a Consultant/Adviser for various organizations including Read Easy UK, where they recruited, trained, and supported community-based Read Easy groups for adults struggling with basic reading. Rupal also worked with Sisters for Change, an organization focused on eliminating violence against women.
In 2014, Rupal worked as a Researcher, conducting studies and original research for their MSc in Development Management. Earlier, they served as a Programme Manager at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from October 2012 to January 2014.
Rupal also has marketing experience, having worked as a Marketing Manager at The Open University from September 2010 to August 2012 and as a Senior Marketing Manager at The Prince's Trust from January 2002 to February 2004.
Throughout their career, Rupal has demonstrated their expertise as a consultant, having worked in this capacity for various organizations from August 2004 to August 2009.
Rupal Shah completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge between 1988 and 1991. Their educational journey continued several years later as they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Development Management from The Open University from 2011 to 2016.
