Regional Manager - Latin America at Community Gaming

Bryan Mier has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Bryan is currently working as the Regional Manager - Latin America at Community Gaming, starting in May 2021. Prior to this, they founded Alpha Phoenix in 2019, an initiative focused on promoting esports and its relationship with international relations. Bryan's earlier experiences include working as a Margaret and Robert Pastor Graduate Assistant Fellow at The Carter Center's Latin America and the Caribbean Program in 2017. Here, they monitored and researched developments in Venezuela and contributed to policy briefs and logistical organization.

Finally, Bryan interned at the Secretariat of International Relations of the Autonomous Departmental Government of Tarija City in 2015. In this role, they compiled information on cooperation agencies and assisted with meeting scheduling.

Bryan Mier completed their Master of Arts degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from Arcadia University in 2017. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in International/Global Studies from the same university in 2016. In 2015, they also participated in a Study Abroad program at the University of St Andrews, focusing on International Relations and Affairs. Additionally, Bryan obtained several certifications, including "COVID-19: Tackling the Novel Coronavirus" from FutureLearn in May 2020 and "Collegiate Esports and Career Planning," "Esports Teams and Professional Players," and "Esports Management Capstone Project" from Coursera in various years.
