Jake Craner

Jake Craner is an experienced professional in the field of information security, currently serving as the Director of Information Security at CHAS Health since February 2023. Previous roles include Security Engineering Supervisor and Senior Security Engineer at the same organization, as well as Senior Consultant in Healthcare Cyber Risk Services at Coalfire from December 2021 to September 2022. Jake held positions as VP of IT and IT Director at Heritage Health from July 2016 to December 2021, and owned Craner Technology Services, LLC from November 2010 to July 2016. Additional experience includes IT Director at Benewah Community Hospital and Technology Consultant at Galexis Technologies. Jake began a career in technology as a Student Labs Hardware Technician at the University of Idaho. Educationally, Jake obtained a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University in 2023 and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Idaho in 2009.
