Bisrat Abebe, LCSW(CT), LICSW(MA), serves as the Associate Vice President of Adult Behavioral Health Services and as the Service Director for Correctional MOUD Programs and Mobile Crisis Response Teams at Community Health Resources since 2021. Since January 2011, Bisrat has also been an adjunct faculty member at several institutions, including UCONN and Boston College. Previous roles include Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician at Hartford Health Care and Assistant Dean of Student Support Services at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Bisrat was the Area Program Manager for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Department of Children and Families and served as the Director of Young Adult Programs at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center. Earlier experience includes the role of Director of Mental Health Program at Corizon Health. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work and a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Boston College, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Transformation from the School for International Training.
